如何确定系统内核是否支持ppp

我的系统是Redhat 7.3
dmesg显示：
NET4: Linux TCP/IP1.0 for NET4.0
IP Protocols: ICMP, UDP, TCP, IGMP
IP: routing cache hash table of 512 buckets,4k bytes.
TCP: Hash tables configured (established 8192 bind 8192)
没有见到关于ppp的，是不是内核不支持ppp，需要编译内核？

RedHat 6.0带的内核就已经支持ppp了
其他各种发布版本的linux内核也应该是支持ppp的

你需要确保在NETWORK DEVICE SUPPORT中
选中“PPP support for async serial ports”或者“PPP support for sync tty ports选项以提供PPP支持。
